Monett Knights strive for progress

The town of Monett has never had a youth league represent it at the GAMES… until the Monett Knights. There are 21 boys on the team, mostly made up of brothers and cousins. They have all become like family over the past few months, practicing together. They have faced many forms of adversity but have managed to prevail. The fear of starting something new had to be overcome, and it was, by keeping open minds about the positive effects that the team has had on the community. The team provides an active, healthy activity for the kids, and it brought a broken community together. They continue to strive towards Monett’s motto: Pride and Progress.
